It's time for a little Brewhaha!

Happy Halloween!

Well I've never done Halloween in Texas, and let me tell ya...I've never been sweating while trick or treating. Usually you're running around trying to not freeze your behind off. Ha ha...oh my goodness it was so warm! It was great though! The kids had so much fun getting handfuls of candy! We had a family party with the Lawton crew. It was definitely all things Halloween. :) Here are some fun pictures from the little Halloween party and night out trick-or-treating. We didn't go for very long but the girls sure did score with the few houses that we went to. By the way to the right is me...as Woody from Toy Story...I'm wearing a ten year old's costume...ha ha...but the cow vest was very soft...I think it might be authentic. :D

Above are some serpent sandwiches; Below are scrumptious spider cupcakes.

The Lawton Family

Mia as the Little Mermaid, Aidyn as a Pumpkin, Leilani as a witch, Rosie as Raggity Ann (is that how you spell that?) and Mark as the Phantom of the Opera.

Long Lost Sister?

Well a couple of Saturdays ago we had a Buddy Walk that we went to support Down Syndrome kids. It was a lot of fun! And the kids there were so adorable! While walking around we took this picture (yes while walking, there was no stopping involved <--That is a circular argument fallacy...sorry...I was just in my english class). The girl on the left is named Samantha. Don't you think she could be mine and Rosie's younger sister? Ha ha...kinda crazy...

This is the Week of Birthdays Galore! Day 5

Happy Birthday Mark Lawton!

Well, the internet went down 'cause the sprinkler guys cut the cable line so I never got to make a Happy Birthday Mark page! And seeing that I've lost all motivation to do so...he's getting the short end of the stick...sorry Markie. But Happy Belated Birthday to our dear, balding, dentist. Ha ha...LOVE YOU!

This is the Week of Birthdays Galore! Day 4

Happy Birthday Sabrina!
Well today (October 19th) is Sabrina Lawton's birthday! She is the big 24! Woo-hoo! Sabrina is married to Daniel Lawton which means they have handsome baby Kolby. She's was born in Phoenix, AZ and is from the Seattle, WA area. She's got a BA in elementary education from BYU-Idaho and hopes to teach when Kolby gets older. Sabrina is super artistic! You should see her scrapbooking skills--very impressive. She's great at making cards and is currently venturing into the stamping world. She cooks well and plays the piano beautifully. She also likes to play pickle ball and cross stitch. Reasons why I like Sabrina...she's crazy just like Rosie and I, knows how to make bugs out of vegetables, has a great sense of humor, likes bratwursts, we share the same middle name, loves food and eats as often as Rosie and I, appreciates old school dance parties, and she's going to show me all the things that I need to do before I get out of my "teen" years, like dressing up as a lizard and riding the pony at Wally World. Ha ha...yeah for Sabs! Living in Texas just wouldn't be as fun if Sabrina didn't live here. She brings great joy into our lives! So...HAPPY BIRTHDAY SABS!

This is the Week of Birthdays Galore! Day 3

Well before I go to the birthday spotlight of the day, I thought that I would give a little shout out to Kunimichi and Eleanor. It's there anniversary today! Hooray! I think that they have been married for about three years...hmmm...i'm not exactly sure...but Congrats! For being married! and staying married!
Happy Birthday Daniel Lawton!
Well for those you who don't remember Daniel, he's Mark Lawton's younger brother. To just give you a little refresher, about 7 or 8 years ago when Mark and Rosie were married, Daniel flew out to Utah for the wedding. Amy Kamoe and Daniel had a little thing for each other. I recall Daniel saying something like, "She's a really pretty girl." and things like that (things that would make a young teenage girl, like myself at the time, giggle). I don't remember how Amy felt about that whole situation...Ha ha...however that little spark never flew. Daniel is currently married to Sabrina who is just awesome! She's so much fun! They have a darling little boy named Kolby who is the handsome one sitting on Dan's shoulders in the picture above. Daniel is currently living in Texas at mom and dad Lawton's house. He aspires to be a dentist just like his big brother Mark, and is waiting for some replys to dental programs he has applied to. He "runs like a machine" according to Mark and is so fun to have around! I don't know what Mark would do without another male around to keep him somewhat masculine. So thank goodness for Uncle Daniel! Ha ha...Well...Happy Birthday!

This is the Week of Birthdays Galore! Day 2

Happy Birthday E.G.!

Well today (October 17th) is E.G.'s birthday! Yeah! Pretty much every single day this week there is a birthday...kinda crazy! Anyway...eg and I go way back to my days at good old EMI currently known as EWI. He worked in the shipping office while I was in protege support. He likes to called himself the "Office Motivater" or something like that. Hmm...pretty much he wanders around and talks to everyone. Ha ha...but now that i'm not there to put him in his place, who knows what he does? He's currently a student at BYU, likes to play soccer and whatever other sport, enjoys concerts (thanks to me) and is a massive dork. Probably the Ultimate dork, but hey, that's why we're friends. Ha ha...once he attended a "dance party" that Nani-Buns and I like to have up in the Provo Canyon and he couldn't keep up due to his old age...ha ha...or something like that. Reasons why I like eg...he would go on food runs during lunch time at EWI when I didn't have time to pack a lunch in the morning, he's way good at soccer and has little girl legs, he smells nice most of the time, and he puts up with Nani (cousin nan, not Leilani Lawton) and I. Ha ha...Well eric gene, hope you have a fantastic birthday! Take Care! Happy Birthday!

This is the Week of Birthdays Galore!

Happy Birthday Koonch!
Today (October 16th) is big brudda Kunimichi's Birthday! Yeah! I think he's 28...whoa...he doesn't look 28 does he? Ha ha. Well Kuni is the oldest of my three brothers, although often times he is thought to be the youngest of the three. He's married to wife Eleanor and has cute, little (only boy cousin) Oliver. He currently goes to UVSC. Reasons why I like Koonch...he plays crazy good music! He's funny! He's got the happiest Asian faces I've ever seen. He's a good dad and patient husband. His legs are just a little bit longer than mine. (Ha ha...good reason to like him.) He's fun to play games with and eat food. Overall, he's just a good guy! So...Happy Birthday Kuni! I love you lots big brudda! Hope you have a very Happy Birthday! :D

...Horizontal Rain...

Well today there was a tornado watch warning, and it was raining so hard! I loved it! The power went out and the trampoline in the back moved probably three or four yards because it was so incredibly windy! Don't worry no one died! (Mark just waltzed in and informed me that there was a tornado in Fairfield, which is the next subdivision over...no wonder the power went out). Here is me "experiencing" the craziness! I was laughin so hard, it was fantasic!

DaTe NiGhT!!!

I know many of you are thinkin', "so you finally went out on a date huh?" and my response to you is not exactly. Ha ha...the Lawton adults had date night tonight, but Leilani and I had our own date night too! Mark and Rosie wanted to go out but Leiliani had group violin lessons, so I took Nan (that's Leilani for those of you who don't know) and they went out. (Don't worry, the other kids were with Aunt Holly and Uncle Tom; we didn't abandon them.) So Leilani did great at violin! She is quite the little mistro! I can't tell the difference for when Leilani plays and when Rosie plays; that's how good Leilani is getting.

Anyway...so after violin, we ran some errands and then went to taco bell! Nan loves that place! We spoiled our dinner too 'cause we went to coldstone and the ice cream was melting, so we had to eat it in the car on the way home. All the way home Nan asked me how to spell things. She's quite the little speller. She can spell many words like hamburger, burrito, taco bell, monkey, rodeo and "Sachiyo Takahashi" which I think is very impressive for a six year old. However when I came up with certain words that were more difficult and adopted from the french language she said, "If I don't get it right, will you give me another chance?" as if I was going to make her walk home if she was unable to spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious perfectly her first try. Ha ha--she kills me!

After ice cream and dinner and the many spelled words, we decided to watch a movie before it was time to hit the hay! Leilani picked the movie and so we watched Little Shop of Horrors which I figured was an appropriate movie to watch seeing that Rosie let Mia watch it the other day. Yeah, kind of a weird movie. Great music, odd movie; Leilani seemed to love it though! Ha ha...she likes the peculiar movies just like her momma. But I will admit, it was a pretty good movie, but it kind of creeped me out at points. In addition to the creepiness, Leilani would freak out every once in a while and I thought that she was having a heart attack or suffering from a stroke or some fatal cause that would leave her lifeless. In sumation, I liked the movie for the most part, it made me laugh; just don't watch it with young ones.

As the movie concluded and I asked Nan to get her pajamas on, i walked downstairs and saw Rosie in the window, which then gave me a heart attack and that ended the "date night." Ha ha...good ending eh?

Who is this?!?

No mom, it's not my new boyfriend. Ha ha ha...Believe it or not, this is little Justin Leavitt, who I guess isn't so little anymore. Well Justin's birthday was the other day and so I figured I would make a little blog just for him! Yeah for Justin! I was going to do it on his birthday, but decided to study instead. Ha ha...that's a first. Well for those of you who don't remember Justin, we go way back to elementary school at good, ol', ghetto Cherry Hill or "Herry Hill" as it said on the school. He is currently running cross country and track at Southern Utah University. He runs fast--way fast. I just wanted to embarrass him on the internet while I can. By the way, y'all are probably wondering where I got this picture...i did a search on google 'cause I didn't have any pictures of him...or at least any recent ones...wait...one moment please...

I forgot that I had this one on my phone! You know what? I don't think I know where that is. Actually, it looks like ALLC! Woo-hoo! Ha ha...good times! Well, I'm glad I'm writing whatever happens to come into my head. But, i like Justin. He's a good guy! Hope you're doing well Just! HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY!

NEW PAJAMAS!

well, rosie took the girls shopping the other day and when they came home they had some great purchases! namely these very adorable "i heart mom" and "i heart dad" pajamas! They are oh so cute, so i thought that i would share them with you!

above: the three lawton girls...i think i should call this the lawton family website or something 'cause i seriously just post picture of...well...the lawtons. below: check out miss mia's face in this one, she looks possessed or something...
