Mmmmm...Nestle Tollhouse!

Well we have a housefull of ill ones (myself included) , fortunately Miss Ai and Leilani seem to be on the uprise.
Anyway, so Rosie and I ran to Nestle Tollhouse on Friday night and grabbed some treats for everyone! It was a blast! We had ice cream and sherbert and cookies! It was delicious! We all just hungout and conversed for a little while and then went upstairs and had a sick people gathering. We spread out some blankets on the floor with pillows and stuffed animals and plopped down to watch Lady and the Tramp. I haven't watched that movie in a long time. I don't think I ever really liked it. I still don't think I really like it, however I didn't really sit down to watch the entire show, so I

can't really say. Ha ha...one of these days, I'll get around to it. Anyway, here are some pictures of the Lawton family

and I enjoying our treats! Too bad y'all weren't here to enjoy the quest to gain ten pounds. Maybe you should come and visit! ;)

This is Leilani with her sherbert and "crazy eye" from being sick. She exerted all of her energy for the sake of this one picture. Isn't she such a sweetheart?!

To the right of her, for those who are wondering, is just me chowing down on my rocky road ice cream and cone. Mmmmm...I also had an oreo like cookies that pretty much lasted me days!

This is Mark-o sneaking behind my back and eating my oreo cookie. I can only imagine how many more days it would have lasted me if it weren't for him...ha ha...

Then here is Aidyn, who has been so sick and wouldn't eat anything for days eating the rest of Rosie's ice cream cone. Yeah for Miss Ai!

Luckily out of all the Lawton girls, Mia didn't get sick, nor has she been sick. Good job Mia for having an immune system that works! Healthy girl! Woo-hoo!

Well I keep trying to post more pictures of the girls but it's not allowing me to. So this will have to do for now...

I have officially started piano lessons! Hooray! I love it! I had my first lesson on Friday, but normally my lessons will be on Thursday afternoons. There was just some confusion so we had to reschedule. My teacher is Tamara Beard, she is a lady from the Waller Ward. She's pretty cool. Rosie says she's an excellent pianist, so hopefully I will be able to gain a new talent. I'll keep you posted on how this new little adventure goes! I'm really excited for it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RO-CHAN!

Well folks, today is my brother Hiroyuki's birthday. He is the is the big 23! Woo-hoo! Let me tell you some reasons why I like Hiro. He is the craziest and probably most sassy of the brothers! Ha ha. We like to play these random "ultimate challenge" games that don't look very fun, by oh goodness they are! Ro and I tend to laugh for long periods of time until we cannot breathe. He also tends to fall backwards on the chair in the computer room at mom and dad's house quite often. What else? He always gives good advice and is always there for me when I need him. He makes cute babies with Rach. He has good anime faces. He's got the best girl hair I've ever seen on a boy. He's kind and funny. He plays monkey ball with me amongst other nintendo/board games. Overall, he's just a fantastic guy! Yeah for Hiro!!! Well big brudda, hope you have a spectacular day! Love you lots and lots!

Somnerville Lake~is where the Lawton Family and I spent our Saturday. It was tons of fun! The lake water was nice and warm. It was a perfect day! Not too hot, with a slight breeze, and an occassinal cloud burst. It was heavenley if I say so myself. We were able to play on the shore and get a little dirty.

The little girls and I began to build a sand castle. Miss Ai helped me out as we built the foundation to the thing, while Mia so helpfully carried over water to make the sand stick together a little bit better. Leilani was the designer/architect of the castle and was mixing up a "concoction" to decorate the outside of the castle. Unfortunately, shortly after the first layer, we headed out on the boat, abandoning all hopes of ever acheiving the most brilliant sand castle to live on the shores of Somnerville...oh well...

While out on the boat we got to ride on the water weenie! The girls loved it! Intentionally I tipped it over twice! Ha ha...what's the point of being on a lake if you're not going to get wet, right? Right. Mia, however, was a little nervous and asked me if there were sharks in the lake multiple times when we first arrived. I assured her there were none.

After boating we ate lunch and just kind of hungout for a little bit and then went and played on the Launch Pod! For those of you who are unaware of what a launch pod is, it's pretty much a trampoline with a slide that floats in the lake. Crazy cool eh!?

The kids had so much fun! I had so much fun! Mark probably had the most fun though!

Old man...I mean King of the Mountain. Eh he he...gotta love Mark!

Well, that was pretty much our day. It was fun-filled and relaxing! We got lots of sun so hopefully when I come home to visit my legs won't glow in the dark or blind people in the light...which was the case when we initially arrived at the lake. Ha ha. Oh well, we can't all be tan like Leilani.

As for the rest of my weekend. On Friday, Rosie, Sabrina, and I went to stamp club. That was fun! However, I've never really stamped before, so it was definitely a learning experience. I also went to the Single's Ward today...ha ha...I think the average age in that ward in like 25 years. No joke. I definitely don't fit in being Asian and 19. Luckily the people that I talked to today thought that I was in my twenties, so that was good. At least they don't know that I am still in my teenage years. Well, I hope y'all enjoy the pics! Until next time...

So it looks at though I have moved to Texas where everything is supposedly bigger and better! Crazy...I can't believe that I have already been here for almost four weeks! Since I have been away, I thought that I would be like my lovely sister-in-laws and start my own little blog so y'all can see what I have been up to and so I can tell you all about my "sweet, young life" as Rachel puts it. Ha ha. Good woman...

Well, I live in a town called Cypress, which is just outside of Houston, with my sister Rosie and her family. They are so much fun! It's also nice to be able to be around my sister again. She truly is my other half. :D We constantly break out in song and dance every now and then which of course ends up in laughter...we're almost like a High School Musical. Ha ha ;)

As for my so called "sweet, young life" it really isn't all that eventful, which is rather nice. I go to school at Tomball Community College on Mondays and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:30; Fridays from 9:00 am to noon. Most of my professors are pretty cool, they are all so different it's fantastic! Although one of them I do have a hard time understanding, because his southern drawl is a little thick. Other than that school's great! I'm also currently looking for a job. (*Random side note: I went job searching last Saturday for four hours. Just yesterday I realized that the voicemail on my phone is not working, which of course is unfortunate because I 1.) don't have my phone with me, 2.) have it turned off, or 3.) just can't find it with how much Miss Ai wanders off with it; which of course makes it difficult for employers to leave a message. Thank goodness for my old roommate Christina! She informed me that something was wrong with it. Luckily that is all fixed so hopefully I'll find a job soon!) Other than school and filling out job applications, I just hang out with the fam bam! The little ones wear me out a lot. But I guess, so does Rosie! Ha ha! We've been doing many paint jobs...Rosie does the painting and I either keep her company and/or load the roller/brush for her. I think we've inhaled too many paint fumes though...

Well, I guess that is about it! Eventually I'll learn to post pictures and what not and the blog will be a bit more exciting! Until then...

Oh goodness...it just deleted my post...now I have no motivation to do another one right now, so I'm just going to test the waters and see if this little happy blurb will work! Let's all cross our fingers and hope that it works so y'all can see what I'm up to!
